He is survived by the widow. Mrs. Ruby Fant,two daughters Mrs. Mary Frances Brown of Munford and Mrs. Geraldine Taber of Gadsden: his mother, Mrs. Donia Fant of National City, Calif, two brothers. Marcus Fant, Jr . and Hugh H. Fant, both of Oxford: one sister, Mrs. Margaret McClellan of National City, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Mike Butterworth, Ray Dempsey. Jack Key, George Prockle, William Gentry and Deward Miller.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Carter, Cubia Odell, C.I. Thomas, Curtis Hughes, Grave Hughes, John Sanders and John Cotton.
Mr. Fant was a resident of Talladega all of his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
