DOUGLAS HAROLD COPP

Born May 1, 1913, in Salt Lake City, UT., he passed away on November 8, 1999, in Oakdale, CA, He lived in the Fresno area from 1945-1995 and resided in Oakdale from 1995-1999 to be near his son, Harold Copp, and family.

During WW2, he served in both the US Army and the US Navy. During his 30 year career, he was Secretary Treasurer of Valley Foundry and Machine Works of Fresno, later known as Ametek. Mr Copp was active in the Palm Avenue Church of Christ and was a member of Fresno Optimist and Toastmaster Clubs. He was an avid golfer and loving father and grandfather.

He was the husband of the late Phonzie Copp and the father of Harold Copp of Oakdale and Beverly Barham of Park City, UT. He was the grandfather of Hillary Copp, Whitney Copp Nathan Barham, and Joey Barham. He is survived by one of four brothers, George Copp.
