MEREDITH B. LOUDENBURG -Meredith B. Loudenburg, age 89, formerly of Tampico, Illinois died Wednesday, April 07, 2010 at the Walnut Manor Nursing Home in Walnut.

Meredith was born on February 21, 1921 in Bradford, Illinois the son of Bliss and Vera (Swearingen) Loudenburg. He was united in marriage to Lily C. King on March 14, 1941 in Davenport, Iowa and she preceded him in death on March 30, 2005. He farmed in the Tampico area during his lifetime and enjoyed visiting with people.

He is survived by one daughter Norma (Dean) Meier of Hooppole, Illinois; one son Stanley (Bridget) Loudenburg of Prophetstown, Illinois; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Private graveside services will be held on Friday at 11:30 at the Tampico Memorial Cemetery. There will be no visitation. A memorial has been established in his memory to the Walnut Manor Nursing Home. Condolences may be sent to: www.garlandfuneralhome.com.
