Arnold is part of one of the founding families of Palmenthal (now Palmdale). As part of a cemetery project I've built a Family Tree Maker file that includes the Munz family. In addition to all the standard sources, there is also a Munz family history authored by Arnold in the book 'Antelope Valley History, The Journal of the West Antelope Valley Historical Society'. He states he was born August 7, 1893 in Palmdale, Los Angeles County, California.
