Robert is the son of William Gene and Laura Catherine Coursey. He married Anny Magda Stohr Coursey on March 15' 1958 in Hanau, West Germany. He had 3 children Jesse Lee, Bobby Lynwood, and Gary Lee, 4 grandchildren Bobby Lee, Jeffery Brian, Justin Nathanal, and Rebecca Jeanette. Robert served in the Army from 1954-1967, in that time he was in the last part of the Koren War and the Vietnam War. He served a tour of duty in Germany in which he meet and married his wife Anny. After retirement from the service in 1967 he was a heavy equipment operator and farmer. He also enjoyed spending time with family and preparing home cooked meals.
