Mary Lou Garmon Barham 72,of Texarkana, Texas, formerly of Clarksville, Texas died Thursday May 9,2002 in a local hospital. Mrs. Barham was born January 27,1930 in Brownfield, Texas. She was a homemaker, retired from Day & Zimmermann, and a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. She was preceaded in death by her husband, Ferrill W. “Curly” Barham. Survivors include one son, Keith “Bamm-Bamm” Barham of Texarkana; one daughter, Karla Doss of Nash, Texas; three brothers, Paul Garmon of Longview, Texas; Morris Garmon of Gilmer, Texas; and James “Pete” Garmon of Tyler, Texas; one sister, Charlene McCarver of Abilene, Texas; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Texarkana Funeral Home Fuqua-Everett Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Steven Gibbs officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.
