Mrs. Martha Zeser dies this morning
Mrs. Martha C. Zeser, 90, of 237 North Fifth Street, widow of Andrew P. Zeser, died at 5:50 a.m. today at the Adams County Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient four days.
Born in Tiffin, O., Aug. 10, 1879, she was a daughter of Nicholas and Mary Reinbolt-Warnement, and had resided in this community more than 60 years. She was married to Andrew P. Zeser Jan. 6, 1903. Her husband preceded her in death Jan. 22 of this year.
Mrs. Zeser was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rosary Society, and a charter member of the Women of the Moose and its Academy of Friendship.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George (Ursula) Stultz of Decatur, and Mrs. Everett (Marie) Studebaker of Fort Wayne Route 4; one granddaughter, Mrs. Arthur (Betty) Hurst of Decatur, and five great-grandchildren. Three children, one brother and four sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Simeon Schmitt officiating. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gillig-Doan & Sefton Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday until time of the services. The rosary will be recited at p.m. Sunday.
