Mrs. John T. Kamp, 40, died suddenly of heart failure at her home near Amsterdam Saturday evening, leaving her husband and six children. The body is at the Dokken funeral home, arrangements to be announced later for the funeral.
Mrs. Kamp was Elizabeth deRuig, and she was born in Holland, September 23, 1890. Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: Gertrude, aged 15; Grace, 13; Tom, 12; Elizabeth, 11; Fred, 5; and John Jr., 2 years old. She leaves her father J. deRuig of Manhattan, her mother having died a few weeks ago. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Nick Nap of the Holland settlement and Mrs. Ralph Bedson of Butte, and two brothers, Jake deRuig of Oakland, California, and Thomas deRuig of Manhattan.
