William Jacob Rambo, age 83 of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away May 22, 2011 at Twin Falls Care Center in Twin Falls.
William Jacob Rambo was born August 17, 1927 in Hansen, Idaho to Robert Hulon and Ida Ellen Reed Rambo.
As a young man in his 20's, William enlisted and served in the United States Army from 1946-1947. After being Honorably Discharged, he married Norma Christine Staley on August 15, 1948. To this union were born Steve James (Jane) Rambo; David Allen Rambo, Tammy Rambo (Dick) Van Dyk and Keven Robert (Stacie)
Rambo. These children blessed the family with 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
William was a hard worker. He was a Carpenter by trade and began working with Volco's in Jerome, ID for several years before signing on at the College of Southern Idaho where he worked for 21 years.
When he wasn't working, William loved fishing, hunting, camping, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends.
William is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Norma of Twin Falls, ID; his three sons, one daughter and
many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, ID. Interment will be held following the services at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Twin Falls, ID.

We would like to thank the entire staff of doctors and nurses at St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls, and the wonderful staff at the Twin Falls Care Center for all their care and compassion.
The family requests that contributions be made to the favorite Charity of One's Choice.
