Funeral services over the remains of Miss Dora Ellen Root were held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock from the home of her sister Mrs. Frank Winegar. Rev. Charles Miller, pastor of the Methodist church in Waseca officiated and the remains were laid to rest in Wilton cemetery.
The deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James A. Root. She was born March 16, 1878 and passed away at the hospital in Anoka Friday, Sept. 17th.
She is survived by three sisters and one brother. They are: Mrs. Frank Winegar, Miss Hattie Root, and James Root, of New Richland and Mrs. Margaret Nelson of San Diego, Calif.
