The remains of John Brindle were brought to Carlisle on the 8 30 train this morning from Kauffman's Station, Franklin county. Services and interment were at Baker's church. The Rev W C Koontz, of Shady Grove, officiated. The deceased was nearly 86 years of age, and was born near Churchtown, this county. He is survived by three sons. He was a member of the Dunkard church.
