On October 12, 1933, she married William Sherman (Bill) Eagan. Together they had three daughters, Ruth, Barbara and Laura. Bill died on January 29, 1955. She married Fred Koenig a few years later. She worked in fruit warehouses and was a seamstress. She was a very accomplished seamstress and sewed all of the clothing for her daughters and other members of her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Laura Tennyson; husbands William Sherman (Bill) Eagan and Fred Koenig; five brothers and two sisters, daughter Barbara L. Hurd, and son-in-law Donald D. Feis. She is survived by her daughters Ruth L. Feis and Laura J. Peterson and husband Jon Peterson, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and six great, great grandchildren.
Her daughters want to thank Riverview Manor caregivers at Selah for the loving care they gave our mother the last three years.
The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m., December 31, 2009, at Shaw & Sons Funeral Directors, 201 N. 2nd Street. Final committal will follow immediately in Terrace Heights Memorial Park
