He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He retired from Roy Wagner Truckline.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Anabelle Enix; brother, Carl Enix and sisters, Mary Ferrell and Jenny V. Abbot.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Enix, of the home; special nephews, Lowell Brewer, Eidson; sister, Helen Delph, Rogersville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Colboch-Price Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Eugene Hageman officiating. The Hawkins County Color Guard and the Tennessee Army National Guard will conduct military graveside honors at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2006 in Highland Cemetery. Colboch-Price Funeral Home, Rogersville is in charge of arrangements.
