Charlotte A. ``CharlieAnn´´ Curtis (nee Homewood), 64, of Elyria, Ohio and North Ft. Myers, Florida was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, September 22, 2009. She was born in Warren, Ohio on February 8, 1945.
CharlieAnn was a previous employee of All-State Plumbing of Northeast Ohio. She also held numerous appointed and voluntary positions. She was currently serving as a member of Board of Directors for Messiah Lutheran Church, Cape Coral, Florida and the Carriage Village Land Owner´s Association of North Ft. Myers, Florida. CharlieAnn had many hobbies and interests.
Mrs. Curtis is survived by her husband Thomas R. Curtis, daughter Denise Wozniak (Dana), sons Michael and Christopher Angell, step-children Brenda Holmes, James Curtis (Tina), John Bailey, and Debbie Parsons (Richard), daughter-in-law Ann Jones-Angell, 12 grandchildren, mother Lerlin Homewood (nee Swiger), brothers Bill, Dennis, and Tommy Homewood, and sister Jean Spillman. Will be greatly missed by Larry Angell (Sylvia).
She was preceded in death by her father Melvin Homewood and late husband Lee West.
Funeral service will be 1pm Wednesday, September 30 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 360 Princeton Ave., Elyria. The Rev. Paul Jaster will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, 7-9pm at the Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria and noon to 1pm Wednesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Cleveland Multiple Sclerosis Society, 6155 Rockside Road, Suite 202, Independence, OH 44131.
A peacekeeper, caregiver, and confidant to all who knew her, she will be fondly remembered.
