MISHAWAKA Services for Joseph F. Van Driessche, 84, of 622 W. Seventh St, who died at 10:10 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Hospital, will be at noon Wednesday in St. Bavos Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may can from 2 to 9 p.m. today in Hahn-DeVos Funeral Home, 505 W. Eighth St, where a rosary win be said at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Van Driessche retired in 1968 from Uniroyal Corp. after 49 years of service. He was born Dec. 25, 1904, in Iron Mountain, Mich., living most of his lifetime here.
On Aug. 28, 1929, he married Rachel M. Maenhout, who survives, along with four daughters, Dolores L. Newcomer of Osceola, Joan M. Hoerstman and Sylvia A. Van Duysse, both of Mishawaka, and Evelyn M. McCartney of South Bend; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren He was a member of St. Bavos Church, the B.K. Club, KTK Bowling League, Uniroyal Retirees Club and St. Bavos Ushers Club.
