"My grandfather passed away when I was 7 years old, but even though it was so long ago, I still have very fond memories of him. He was my playmate whenever I had no one to play with, he used to tickle me until I coughed, and he loved me unconditionally. I remember going into his room many times just to rummage through his treasure trove of stuff - he was such a packrat! Then he would chase me away for being such a snoop! But he was always there to protect me whenever I ran away from my mom's potential spankings. Those are my fond memories of my grandpa ... and for the short time that he was in my life, he remains in a special place in my heart because I will never forget him."
