A Veteran of the Civil War, dies Wednesday Night
John Saxton, a veteran of the Civil War, died at his home, on Warpole Street, this city, Wednesday night at 10 o'clock.
He leaves a widow and one child, Mrs. Levi Lowmaster, in Eden Township, to mour his death. He was a member of Company F. of the First Wisconsin Infantry and he had an excellent war record. He was about seventy-two years of age. The arrangements for the funeral have not been made yet.
