He was a retired painter, a Navy veteran and a member of Kansas Avenue Expressway Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Etta; three sons, Allen, Abilene,Texas; Bill, Oakland, Calif.; and James, Morganfield, Ky.; a brother, John, Forsyth; five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Collins and Mrs. Edna Blevins, both of Ozark. Mrs. Maude Gardner and Mrs. Bessie Blevins, both of Nixa, and Mrs. Allie Moura,San Lorenzo, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
