Cliff B. Bennett
Mr. Cliff B. Bennett, 85, of the Bethel Community near Whitney, died at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, December 25, in a Whitney Hospital. He was a retired farmer born in Mississippi, but had lived in Hill County most of his life. Funeral services were held Friday, December 27, at 2 p.m. at the Marshall and Marshall Funeral Home Chapel in Hillsboro. Rev. Kenneth Herring and Rev. Calvin Halbert officiated. Burial was in the Peoria Cemetery. Survivors include: his wife, Ema Belle Bennett, two brothers, Seldom Bennett of the Bethel Community and Mayne Bennett of Houston; and sevral nieces and nephews.
