Son of Gerald W. & Charlotte E. Bagley who resided in Pelham, New Hampshire

Donald served as a Machinist's Mate Second Class, U.S.S. Warrington (DD-383), U.S. Navy during World War II.

He resided in Pelham, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

Donald was declared "Missing In Action" in the Atlantic Ocean during what was called the "Great Atlantic Hurricane" in 1944 when the Warrington, a Somers-class destroyer, sank during the storm.

Service # 6078414

This hurricane also claimed the U.S.S. YMS-409 and the Coast Guard Cutters Bedloe and Jackson.
