Son of Thomas and Mary Campbell and he was married to Eleanor Campbell and lived at: 124, Crescent Road, Dingle, Liverpool

John served in the RAFVR as a Sergeant Observer S/No: 1060537. He was serving with No 114 Sqn based at West Raynham, Norfolk.
He was killed whilst attending a 21st birthday party in 'The Eagle' public house in Kings Lynn when it was bombed.
