Anna E. 'Betty' (Brown) Ford of Paulsboro died Saturday, May 21, 2011, in Underwood Memorial Hospital, Woodbury. She was 80.

Mrs. Ford was born and raised in Gloucester and lived in Paulsboro for 50 years. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Ford was a member of Billingsport U.M. Church and Clonmell U.M. Church, Gibbstown.

She also was a member of the Women of the Moose, Paulsboro.

She enjoyed square dancing, sewing and writing to her pen pals.

She is survived by her children, James and Bernadette Ford of Gibbstown, Brian and Donna Ford of Edgewater Park; and her grandchildren, Jennifer and Bill Dick, Jim Ford, Rachael Ford and Nick Ford. Mrs. Ford was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew E. Ford, Jr.; and her daughter, Betty Jean Ford.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, in the McBride - Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro, where friends may call after 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Redeemer Home Care, 521 Moredon Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 or to the Arthritis Foundation, P.O. Box 96280, Washington D.C. 20077.
