Mary Pirro, 65, of 207 King Ave., Solvay, died Sunday at her home.
A life resident of Solvay, Miss Pirro was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She also was a member and first president of the Solvay Tigers Auxiliary and was a member of the Geddes Vets Auxiliary.
Miss Pirro had been employed by Pass & Seymour. For more than 25 years she was employed by the Onondaga County Department of Social Services before retiring in 1985.
Surviving are two brothers, Rocco Pirro of Solvay and John J. Pirro of Linden, Va.; two sisters, Rose Pirro of Henderson Harbor and Carmel Terzolo of Solvay; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Services will be at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Pirro & Sons Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 514 Turtle St.
