member of the 7th Cav

Born 1848 in County Tyrone, Ireland.
Enlisted in the 7th U.S. Cavalry on 29 September 1873. He was in Company G, led by Donald McIntosh at the Battle of the Little Big Horn. Company G went across the river with Reno to attack the indian village. He was one of the lucky ones as was able to make the retreat back across the river and up on what is now known as Reno Hill. He would fight the remainder of the battle here.
