WALTER MARSHALL FIELDS, 77, Buechel, died Monday at Suburban Medical Center. He was a retired service representative for American Air Filter, owner of the old Buechel Sheet Metal Shop, an Army Air Forces veteran, a member of Suburban Masonic Lodge and a former member of Buechel Fire Department and Buechel Rotary Club. Survivors: his wife, the former Nettie Mattingly; two daughters, Laura Ellen Roberts of Buckner and Libby Hill of Jeffersonville, Ind.; a sister, Laura Schoene of Laguna Hills, Calif.; and four grandchildren. Funeral: 1 P.M. Friday, McAfee-Resthaven Funeral Home, 4501 Bardstown Road. Burial: Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation: 2-9 P.M. Wednesday and Thursday. Memorial gifts: WHAS Crusade for Children.
