John Peterson, for over 20 years a resident of Castledale and an old school teacher and leading citizen died, at the home of his son A.D. Peterson, at Marysvale, where the old gentleman was spending the winter.
The deceased was 73 years old and was a native of Norway, and enjoyed the friendship of a host of Emery County People with whom he has been more or less associated. The funeral was held at Marysvale where burial also took place, he having buried a wife there some years ago.
