Hattie married Andrew L. Taylor December 26, 1923 at Casper, Wyoming. From 1923 until 1944, the family lived in the Big Horn Basin area, and the next two years in the State of Washington, coming to Douglas in the fall of 1946 where Mrs. Taylor has made her home since.
Mrs. Taylor was an active member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving her were five children: Dorothy May Fitzhugh, Glenrock, Wyoming; Dolly Marit Thompson, Rose Inez Hornbuckle and Matthew Holden Taylor, all of Douglas, Wyoming; and A. Eric Taylor, Cheyenne, Wyoming. Eleven grandchildren also survived her.
Most of the living members of her family, apart from her children, reside in Norway.
