Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Olney with Pastor Charles Koester presiding. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday in Summers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Goss Cemetery.

Mrs. Beck was born June 14, 1901, in Richland County, the daughter of Fred and Melissa (Hanes) Scherer. She married Fred. S. Beck June 25, 1924, and he preceded her in death Nov. 6, 1968.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, Samuel F. Beck and his wife Wilma Jean, Olney; a granddaughter; and two great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, a sister and a granddaughter.
