Nora D. Lohr, 66, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at Western Prairie Care Home in Ulysses.
She was born March 9, 1941, in Thayer, Mo., to Cleo and Ida McKell Lohr. She grew up and attended schools in Missouri and Kansas and spent her early years in Great Bend. A Ulysses resident since 1977, she belonged to the Baptist church and was active in her church work.
She enjoyed helping people and loved animals, especially rabbits.
Survivors include a brother, Richard Lohr of Pawnee Rock; a sister, Mary Willett of Interlachen, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donald "Doc" and Bill Lohr; and a sister, Dorothy Vanaman.
Cremation has taken place. Services will be held at a later date.
