Aaron was a Private in the Company of Capt Morril in the Regiment commanded by Col Dearborn of N.H.
Aaron was a resident of Florida Mass for twenty three years in 13 Sept 1832, when he applied for a pension for his Revolutionary War service. He states he enlisted in the town of Old Durham, Strafford Co., N.H. for a term of three years and served until his enlistment expired. Was discharged at Constitution Island below West Point.
His certificate of pension papers is dated 31 May 1819 with pension to commence on Feb 19, 1819.
A letter dated 1930 states his enlistment was February or March 1779 and he served until December 1781 in Capt Tuttle's, Senter's and Potter's companies, Col Dearborn's and Reed's New Hampshire regiments.
After his death, his widow Phebe applied for widow's benefits.
