Actor. Born Alfred Jacob Corn in New York City, he began acting at age 8 and made his debut in the Broadway production of "Peter Pan" in 1929. During the 1930s and 1940s, he was a regular on the Broadway stage as well as a radio actor. For feature films his credits include "Winged Victory" (1943), "T-Men" (1947), "The Story on the Page" (1959), "The Raiders" (1963), "True Grit" (1969) and "Tracks' (1977). He appeared in over a hundred television shows such as "The Defenders", "Gunsmoke," "Combat!," "Route 66," "Star Trek," "The Invaders," "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea," "Mission: Impossible" and "Cannon." He died in Englewood, New Jersey, at age 79.
