Born January 17, 1929, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Ora and Oleva (Baxter) Hill. She retired from Indiana University, where she was a clerk in the Education Placement Bureau. She was a member of the Clear Creek Christian Church, Eastern Star, and the Social Order of the Beauceant.
