Monroe, Sept. 24….Funeral services for George Braxton Baucom, high school student of Indian Trail, was conducted at Shiloh Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Rev. E. C. Snyder, officiated, assisted by Rev. Mr. Hunnicutt. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
George was sixteen years of age, the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Baucom. His death was a distinct shock. He underwent an operation from which he did not recover. He was a junior in his home school, and was well known. Besides his parents he is survived by two sisters, and one brother.
