ETHAN ARNOLD DIES; LAWYER 62 YEARS
Ethan Arnold, a practicing attorney in Elkhart since 1900, died unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon at his residence, 216 W. Lexington. Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Saturday in the First Prebyterian Church. The Rev. Edgar G. Prasse will officiate. Burial will be in the Grace Lawn Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers for the funeral will be Mr Arnold's six grandsons;David Denton,Richard Corns Jr,Michael, Joseph, William and Steven Arnold.Ethan Arnold is survived by six children; three sons, Leon, Lewis and Alvin all of Elkhart, and three daughters Elizabeth Arnold of Chicago, and Mrs Richard B. Corns and Mrs Harold N. Denton both of Elkhart, 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Ethan Arnold was born in Cass County Michigan January 18 1875, and has lived in Elkhart since early childhood.He married Charlotte Rhoades in Centerville Michigan April 28 1900. His wife died in 1956.
