Services for M. Brisbane Wednesday
- Funeral services for Miss Maude Jeanette Brisbane, Waseca, who died Sunday morning at her home, have been set for Wednesday. There will be a service at Peterson's funeral chapel at 10:30 and at the Methodist church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Hillis B. Slaymaker officiating. Miss Brisbane had been ill about two weeks.
Maud Brisbane was born Aug. 26, 1884, the daughter of John and Ida Brisbane, New Richland. She attended school in New Richland and during her lifetime worked in schools here and in Iowa. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Alison Michael, and six nieces and nephews.
She was matron in the Owatonna State School for homeless children, at a juvenile home in Toledo, Iowa, and at the Faribault School for mentally retarded children.
Casket bearers were Sherman Irwin, Walter Spies, Wm. Sotebeer, Harold Betchwars, George Wyman and Robert Powell.
