The funeral for Tammy Lynn Nash will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Faith Lutheran Church in Dodge Center with the Rev Lawrence Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Dodge Center. Mrs Nash, 27, of rural Kasson, a nurses' aide, died as a result of a house fire Sunday (Jan 5, 1997) at her home. Tammy Lynn McColley was born May 5, 1969 in Rochester, grew up in rural Dodge Center and graduated from Dodge Center High School in 1988. She attended Rochester Vocational Technical College to become a nurses' aide and had worked at Fairview Nursing Home in Dodge Center since 1988. She had lived in rural Kasson for 4 1/2 years. On Feb 27, 1995 (sic) she married Garry Nash in Las Vegas. Her husband works for Sides Buildings. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Dodge Center. In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Kayla and Sarah Nash at home; her parents, Wayne and Ruth McColley of Dodge Center; a brother, Robert McColley of Dodge Center; two sisters, Doreen McColley of Byron and Brenda McColley of Dodge Center; paternal grandparents, Harry and Deloris McColley of Waseca; and maternal grandmother, Edna Borgen of Chatfield. Her maternal grandfather preceded her in death. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Dibble Funeral Home in Kasson and an hour before the service Thursday at the church. There will be no reviewal. Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice."
