MILLERSBURG - Ray E. Stoneroad, Sr., 46, of Millersburg RD died Thursday as the result of a traffic accident in Hampden Twp.
He was a carpenter and an employee of L F Temps Inc., Camp Hill; a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War; and a member of VFW Post 5507, American Legion Post 326 and Lower Mahanoy Fire Company, Dalmatia.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothea M. Stoneroad; a son, Army Pvt. Ray E. Jr., stationed in Germany; two daughters, Tracy L. of Herndon and Jamie K., at home; his parents, Richard and Roth Stoneroad of Millersburg RD; four brothers, Michael of Millersburg RD 1, Randy of Tower City, Dennis of Shamokin and Roy of Herndon RD; two sisters, Linda Lettich of Halifax RD and Cathy Herb of Elizabethville RD; and two granddaughters.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Hoover Funeral Home.
Burial with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 9: 30 to 10: 30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
