update; thanks to fellow graver, there is now a headstone posted for JW & Martha. Thanks Bubbles.
John Thomas Bausell was fatally injured in a sawmill accident at Jessee's mill. He was a Sawyer for his father-in-law John Henry Jessee, whose mill was 3 miles northwest of Lebanon. A saw hurled a piece of wood at high speed, crushing his skull. He was taken to John Henry Jessee's house in Lebanon, where he lived another 12 days. John Henry sat at his bedside almost the entire time.
Besides John's wife, Florence, he left two small daughters, Hattie and Sada.
