Hobson Brenshaw Willis, Jr., 50, of Frisco, died Thursday morning [March 25, 1976] in the Albemarle Hospital following a short illness.

A native of Hatteras, he had lived in Frisco most of his life. He was retired from the US Coast Guard, and had served in the US Army during WWII in Germany.

He was the son of Mrs. Martha Farrow Willis of Frisco and the late Mr. Hobson Willis. Besides his mother he is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Sylvia Sawyer of Aulander, Mrs. Myrna Ballance and Mrs. Arvella Peele of Frisco; five brothers: Desmond Willis, Delmar Willis, Harris Willis, and David Willis of Frisco, and Perlet Willis of Sulphur, La.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the Assembly of God Church in Frisco by Mrs. Arvella Barnette, pastor. Burial was in the Willis Family Cemetery.
