PROMINENT MATRON DIED HERE FRIDAY
Funeral services for Mary Gertrude Stebbins, 82, who died at her home here Friday, were held from the Moon chapel Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock and interment was at Pinecrest cemetery beside the body of her husband, the late Marcelous Stebbins, who passed away onlly last summer. The services were in charge of the Rev. A.J. Morton, retired Methodist minister, assisted by the Rev. Lloyd A. Doty, pastor of the First Methodist church, who was in charge of the music. Pallbearers were Harry and Mel Nesbitt, Ernest Kitche, Ed Elliott, Clyde Morris and H.F. Schedler.
Mrs. Stebbins had lived in Sandpoint since 1911. She was born in Wisconsin, June 26, 1860, and married the late Mr. Stebbins November 27, 1876. Immediate survivors are: a son, A.M. Stebbins, Sandpoint business man, and two daughters, Mrs. Gertie McGrath of St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Lottie Kelly of Chehalis, Wash. Both daughters were here for the services.
