Basketball Coach. Member, Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. Best known for coaching tiny Milan (IN) High School to the 1954 State Championship. This story inspired the movie "Hoosiers." He also coached at New Castle (IN) High School, Indianapolis North Central High School, and Mishawaka (IN) High School, as well as Bethel and St. Mary's colleges.
