Nixon, Tex., July 23 (Spl.) W. H.Carpenter died at his home here Saturday evening, July 19, he had been I'll for a number of months and his peaceful passing was a relief to him from suffering. He is survived by his companion, three sons and one daughter. Interment was given Sunday afternoon in the Bundick cemetery at Smiley. Smiley and Nixon Odd Fellows performed the last sad rites for the departed brother. Divine services were conducted at the family residence in Nixon by Rev. C. O. Boatman, pastor of the Nixon Methodist church.
