He was born in Muncie, the son of Edward L. and Helen F. Leathers Riley.
He retired from New Venture Gear in Muncie in 1993 after 30 years of service. He attended Highland High School.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Sandra Kay (Sheller) Riley of Chesterfield; one daughter, Christina Riley of Chesterfield; and a granddog, Boston.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 8212 S. Walnut St., Daleville. Burial will follow in Bronnenberg Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
