POCAHONTAS -Liney Ida Crane, 97, of Breese, formerly of Pocahontas and Vandalia, died 2:25 a.m. Thursday (March 22, 1990) in St. Joseph Hospital, Breese.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in May Funeral Home, Pocahontas, with visitation 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Robinson Cemetery,
Pocahontas. Memorials: Pocahontas United Methodist Church or Robinson Cemetery Association.

Mrs. Crane was born in Pocahontas, daughter of Joseph and Mary Knebel. She was a retired seamstress at Princess Peggy Dress Factory in Vandalia, affiliated with Pocahontas United Methodist Church and member of Ross Camp Royal Neighbors of America in Pocahontas. She married Benjamin Crane in 1910. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are her daughter, Ione Sellers of Breese; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.

Two daughters, one greatgrandchild and three brothers preceded her in death
