The climax of his career came between the mid 20´s and mid 40´s. His last presentation was in 1970. He was also one of the greatest composers in the tango history, among his best compositions are "Mala Junta", "Amurado", "Risa Loca", "Berretín", "La Revancha" and "Esquinero".
