Lyricist, journalist, playwright, and cinema script writer. Alfredo Le Pera worked very closely to Carlos Gardel in his final years, he wrote the script of nearly all his movies: "Melodía de Arrabal", "Espérame", "La Casa es Seria", "Cuesta Abajo", "El Tango en Broadway", "El día que me quieras", "Tango Bar" and all the songs in them. He died with Gardel in the plane crash at Medellín, Colombia, on June 24, 1935.
