Nola E. Kotterman, Macy Woman, Dies: PERU
Mrs. Nola E. Kotterman, 71, of Macy, died at 2 p.m. Thursday at the home of a son, Cletus Kotterman of Indianapolis.
Born Aug. 31, 1896, in Miami County, she was the daughter of William D. and Minnie Mae Shoemaker Clingaman. Her marriage in 1917 was to Leon Kotterman, who died in 1947. A retired school teacher, she taught in the Macy, Gilead.and Butler Township elementary schools. She was a member of the Macy Methodist Church and a member and past matron of the Gilead OES.
Survivors include two sons, Cletus of Indianapolis and Larry of Denver; one daughter, Mrs. Gwenneth Dolby of Fort Wayne; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mahala Deeds of Macy and Mrs. Howard Walker of French Lick.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the McCain Funeral Home. The Rev. Darren Taggart of Fort Wayne and the Rev. Robert Ellison of Macy will officiate and burial will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery at Macy. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday.
