Mr. Joshua Alexander Dotson, age 29, of Swords Creek, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at home following a brief illness.
He was born in Richlands, Virginia and is the son of Connie Whitt Dotson of Swords Creek, Virginia and the late Claude T. Dotson.
Joshua was the Assistant Manager at WalMart at Pounding Mill, Virginia. He was a 2000 graduate of Honaker High School. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Cedar Bluff, Virginia.

Funeral services for Joshua Alexander Dotson will be conducted Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 2:00pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with Pastor Scotty Brown and Pastor Larry Ratliff. Interment will be at the Christian Family Cemetery on Robinson Ridge, near Swords Creek, Virginia with the Rev. Dennis White officiating. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. Friends may call after 6:00pm Friday, May 20, 2011 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral
