She was predeceased by her first husband, Alfred E. Smith, and her second husband, Wade H. Smith; her parents, Stephen and Mary (née Hotykay) Szucs; and a grandson, Greg Yetka. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Hubert Gary and Caroline Smith of North Carolina, and Frank Hamilton and Harriet Smith of Alabama; a daughter and son-in-law, Dolores and George Yetka of New Monmouth; 14 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the AIDS Resource Foundation for Children, 182 Roseville Ave., Newwark, NJ 07107, attention Sandra Richards, or the Garden State Hospice, 70 Jackson Drive, Cranford, NJ 07016.
