Amos Felker Brubaker was born Feb. 2, 1894 at Mount Joy, Pennsylvania to Jacob B. Brubaker and Barbara K. Felker. He served in the US Army during World War I F Company, 326th Infantry, 82nd Division, N.A. He departed from New York, NY April 29, 1918 on the Mauritania. He served overseas in France 4/28/1918 - 6/6/1919 and was discharged 6/12/1919.
On his return, he married Margaret MacDonald and together they had two children: Dr. Robert M. Brubaker and Jean C. Brubaker de Void. Unfortunately, Margaret passed away before 1935. His aunt, Anna K. Brubaker lived with him and helped him raise the children.
He worked for the USPS as a Chief Mail Clerk until he retired in 1955. He was very active in his adopted hometown of Mountain View, New Jersey and a member of the Methodist Church. At the age of 74, he passed away Sept. 6, 1968 Wayne, NJ and is interred at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa, NJ.
